Solar Uptime 5-Year Workmanship Warranty

The Solar Uptime 5-Year extended warranty is an option available for new solar system installations.

This warranty complements the product warranties offered by solar component manufacturers and any warranties implied or specified under Consumer Law.

Inclusions:

• Within the first five years of operation, Solar Uptime will repair any system faults or issues you may encounter at no charge to you, providing your system has a fault or defect caused by:
  • The products supplied; or
  • The workmanship during installation.

     

• Solar Uptime will rectify any damage or leaks caused by the system or our workers during the installation process.
  • This is subject to Solar Uptime being notified of any damage as soon as you notice it – or have become reasonably aware of any damage.

     

• The warranty covers all costs related to:
  • Repair and/or replacement of components.
  • Processing applicable manufacturer warranty claims.
  • Associated on-site work.

What’s excluded:

• Any damage caused to the system due to external factors defined as excessive weather events, such as; cyclones, large hailstones, floods, or fires.
• Faults or damage due to tampering, modification or repairs by a party other than Solar Uptime.
• Non-compliance with operating instructions.
• Issues in relation to remote monitoring app functionality that arise subsequent to initial successful setup and usage.
• Damage or faults caused by issues with the electricity grid.
• Damage caused by external factors such as vandalism.

What happens after five years?

If there is a fault or defect, you can rely on the product warranties provided by the manufacturers of the components supplied as part of the system, such as the 25 year performance warranty associated with Solar Panels.

Solar Uptime will be your primary contact. We’re happy to help you obtain warranty resolution from the relevant manufacturer.

Many of the products we supply come with an on-site labour warranty providing cover for up to five years. Please refer to the relevant warranty documentation for the products you have purchased to understand if labour is covered after five years.

This warranty will become invalid if you fail to comply with all reasonable instructions of Solar Uptime in relation to the operation and care of the solar system.
