As part of our preventative maintenance our Solar Uptime specialists perform a full system check and report to ensure potential problems can be fixed for less cost if caught early.
Our solar experts come to you and:
- Check panels for hot spots, back plate cracks, PV cell delamination, moisture ingress, manufacturing defects, broken glass, and other issues.
- Confirm the DC isolators aren’t included on product recall list.
- Replace perished DC cable ties when necessary and accessible.
- Check solar panel rails and brackets to ensure sound roof connection.
- Inspect DC isolators for damaged housings, water ingress and other safety issues.
- Perform insulation resistance test on DC cabling to ensure no voltage leaks to earth.
- Check panel frame seals for any developing moisture ingress issues.
- Check inverter ventilation and clear blockages.
- Perform shut down and restart test on solar inverter.
- Conduct anti-islanding test on the inverter to ensure compliance with electrical safety legislation.
- Record inverter readings for system performance monitoring.
- Identify potential panel shading issues.
- Perform three stage panel clean to remove all contaminants, including baked on dirt, grime, and waste.
